Just wanted to do a quick review of last weekend before the new weekend comes. If I don’t update regularly, I’ll probably just stop updating all together. ehhhhh. Saturday, I just wanted to chill the fuck out. So it was partially spent having lunch, doing just that. We had nothing but a big ass field of grass to look at, which was nice.

No bullshit annoyances, like people, cars,and noise.

I also had the best hoagie/sub/torpedo in front of me. I crowned this place personally with this title. If you tried to find this place you wouldn’t even know where to look, and once you found it, you would even believe were it was. I always get the sandwich named the galatica. Had to also get the old school apple juice. It’s plastic now rather than glass, but close enough. This was a way better meal than the shawarma the night before.

This shit was dry, and salty.

Spotted this Masseratti at my apartment complex. Probably spelt it wrong, not rich enough to know how to spell it. Not sure what drugs he selling, cause I know he’s not a doctor or in the computer industry for sure.

Lately I’ve been getting into equipment again. I broke out all my mixers, and over the weekend I went over to Vo’s and he broke out his old mixer from storage.

California is beautiful to live in, but it’s policies are bullshit. Even with all the rules we have toward emissions, we still have smog and shitty air. Education is not a concern for California, music and art curriculums are still being dissected from the state, but they give a fuck if your car can pass smog. The cost of one class in community college here, could pay for 4 smog checks.

I took the volvo over to the homie kevin. I go to this dude everytime. He’s been my smog guy for my last 3 smogs. I only see him once every 2 years but he still remembers me every time. He also lets my car slide in certain areas of inspection. Swell fellow. I spent my time waiting there talking to some 50 year old lady about my car. She was waiting for her car to get smogged next. She kept asking me questions about my car, if it was from europe, and even asked if I had nitrous oxide LOL. I told her well see right now when I get my smog result. Random ass people make my day, and is what life is about IMO. It’s the person you see once every 2 years yet he knows your name, or the random stranger that tries to get to know you. The characters in this world.

I passed, paid my $50, now gotta pay $110 to the dmv.

My Volvo feels like it’s gonna give out on me at any time. I’ve owned my car for so long, and care for it so compulsively, that I’m basically one with that shit. Right now I already sense that the axels are gonna give out pretty soon. The transmission doesn’t feel that great either, smh. I made a vow that my last set of major repairs were gonna be the last. It’s time to retire my Volvo pretty soon, and let here sit in the garage, with occasional weekend or night drives. I’ve already prepared myself for the inevitable and started making plans. Choosing a replacement daily driver it not easy for me. I’ve been all over the place in choices. Sure if I had the money, I’d just buy a Panamera or LFA and call it a day, but I’m not wealthy. I want a wagon, but all the ones out are either not worth it, or shitty. Going though every car new and used available on the market, and doing pros and cons. I still can’t decide 100%. I went from thinking about a prius, to lexus ct, to lexus gs, to is250, to frs, to impreza wagon, to nsx, to bmw 3 series wagon, to honda fit, to volvo v50 wagon, back to ct, to ford fiesta, to jetta sportwagon, back to nsx, and so on… fuck, I honestly don’t know what I want. I was even thinking about doing a full resto on my S40 and keeping her longer. smh

Right now, I’m currently leaning toward a FRS. But thats for right now. I just saw this frs on rotiforms, and daym this thing is nice. FRS looks like a mini LFA, with a LFA inspired 6 speed Transmission. I would probably only fuck with toyota’s FRS, and not mess with subaru’s BRZ.

I would do this thing simple and right. Buy a white or charcoal FRS, just add a KW suspension, wheels, and exhaust. DONE
